How to run Foiy Home

Short guides for parents and helpers. Start with Today and capture. Add the rest when the family is on the board.

What is Foiy Home
Foiy Home is a private family workspace for early learning, not a marketplace or a child game.

Create a family
Create a family from the public site, then confirm email and set up the first adult.

Invite adults
Invite a co-parent, a helper, or a viewer. Each role sees a different home screen.

Helper first day
Open the invite, pick a language, land on Today, log the first block.

Today
Today is the home screen. The current block is expanded. The helper lands here.

Capture
Log a photo, quote, mood, sleep, or outdoor minutes without a long form.

Plan
Plan the week from the template. Watch the language forecast. Auto-plan is a proposal, not a command.

Review
Plan-Do-Review at daily, weekly, monthly, and birthday cadence.

Activities
The activity library is invitations with an adult move, not worksheets.

Playbook
Protocols and prompt cards for the helper: dialogic reading, conflict, risk.

Materials
The shelf is eight slots. Rotate. Do not fill the house with unused trays.

Dashboard
Progress is a readout of logs: language hours, outdoor minutes, quotes. Not test scores.

Ladders
Mastery ladders have five rungs. The child can move a marker. There is no score.

Portfolio
The portfolio is the family record. Share it on purpose. Do not post it to a feed.

Language plan
A language plan is an input budget: hours per language per speaker, not a lesson list.

Dhivehi at home
A heritage language with no street support needs adult hours at home. The app cannot speak it for you.

Family isolation
Each family is a tenant. Foiy Home does not mix data across families.

Roles
Owner, admin, helper, and viewer are different jobs. Pick the smallest role that works.

Export and delete
Export your data or delete the family in Settings. Deletion is permanent for the cloud copy.
